  1. Free hands-on workshops

In the centre of the exhibition hall, visitors can find the interactive workshop space. Three workshops will run each day at the event and are completely free to attend! These fantastic sessions are designed to leave visitors with fresh and exciting ideas to take back to their settings that will engage and energise the children under their supervision.

On Friday, learn activities that will help regulate children’s emotions, be invited to explore loose parts in action and leave with the knowledge to implement a movement rich curriculum that focuses on active learning. On Saturday, sing a song of phase 1 phonics, discover how to increase mental and emotional health with music and see what science in early education looks like.

  1. CPD seminars and panel sessions

With two panel sessions and eight seminars to choose from, the learning opportunities are endless. As always, the programme will focus on the essential building blocks of children’s development, looking at topics such as play, literacy, wellbeing and environments. Visitors can also explore the value of nature pedagogy and be part of a powerful session focusing on how to become a connected, calm and conscious leader.

An important session run by Ofsted themselves will provide an inspection update and explain how inspections will consider the key aspects of the EYFS reforms. Vanessa Dooley, inspection expert, will be giving the inside scoop on how to shine through the inspection process to guarantee good results.
