Childcare & Education Expo London 2025: A Record-Breaking Success

On 28th February – 1st March 2025, Childcare & Education Expo London welcomed a record-breaking 3,881 attendees to Olympia London. The event marked a significant milestone, solidifying its reputation as one of the UK’s most important trade shows in the early years sector.

So, what were the highlights?

A Speech from the Minister for Early Education

Stephen Morgan MP, Minister for Early Education, addressed the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. His words sparked valuable conversations among attendees, further underlining the importance of the early years workforce.

Michael Rosen: Inspiring Seminars and Book Signings

A key highlight was the presence of Michael Rosen, the renowned author and educator. Rosen delivered two spirited seminars on the vital role of storytelling and language development in early childhood education. 

One attendee shared: 

“Michael’s seminar was nothing short of inspiring. It’s rare to get the chance to hear from someone with such passion and experience. The practical tips he shared will definitely shape the way I approach language development with children.”

Rosen’s seminars were followed by a book signing, offering attendees a chance to meet the author in person. Hundreds left with old and new signed copies of his books.

Five Content Streams: Seminars, Workshops and Roundtable Discussions

The event featured five key content streams, offering a variety of seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions that supported professional development, tackled current challenges and inspired new ideas. 

Reflecting on the seminars, one delegate said: 

“The range of topics covered was impressive. I walked away with new ideas that I can immediately implement in my setting, especially around early literacy and creative learning.”

Networking and Collaboration at the Forefront

Networking was at the heart of the event’s success, with numerous opportunities for delegates and exhibitors to connect. The event fostered a strong sense of community, with many attendees highlighting how valuable it was to meet others equally passionate about shaping the future of early years education.

As one attendee commented,

 “It’s refreshing to have open conversations with people who are as committed to the development of early childhood education as I am. I’ve learned so much already and am excited to implement new ideas in my setting.”

Exhibitors and Feature Areas

The event showcased 120 exhibitors, featuring the latest products and services aimed at enhancing early years education. In addition to the exhibitor stands, immersive feature areas provided inspiration, with activity and development ideas designed to spark creativity and support attendees in their work with children.

Looking Ahead 

Next up, Childcare & Education Expo Midlands will take place on 26th-27th September 2025 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, bringing even more excitement to the region, including a new SEND in Early Years Conference

Looking ahead to 2026, the Childcare & Education Expo will return to Olympia London on 20th-21st March 2026 for another exciting event.
