Childcare and Education Expo Midlands 2021

The leading exhibition for childcare & education is returning in September 2021, to give practitioners across the early years and primary education fresh insight and inspiration, helping the industry move forward following the pandemic.

Visitors at the childcare and education expo

Since the launch of the renowned event in 2010, the show has welcomed over 34,000 early years and primary practitioners, leaders and managers. Throughout the years, visitors have attended with a shared ambition – to improve their childcare practice and the lives of children across the UK.

With more than 2,000 delegates expected to descend on Ricoh Arena on the 24th and 25th September, Childcare & Education Expo presents the exciting opportunity for the sector to finally reconnect. The free event will be the first occasion for the professionals in the industry to meet in around two years, with over 100 exhibitors showcasing products and services.

After sadly missing the launch into primary education in 2020, this will be the first show welcoming both primary as well as early years and will feature a packed schedule of panel discussions, CPD seminars and interactive workshops.

Across the two days the event will see the biggest speaker line-up in the Expo’s history. Key speakers will include June O’Sullivan MBE, Chief Executive of London Early Years Foundation, Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA and Professor Christine Pascal OBE, Director for Research in Early Childhood.

The show follows a string of successful virtual summits over the last 18 months which united the early years and primary education sector.

Director and Show Organiser Emma Barrett said: “It has been a very challenging couple of years for the sector and while we have been able to provide support through our virtual summits it will be great to engage with the industry again at a face-to-face event.

This is the longest running exhibition in the early years sector and we are now launching into primary education too, with panel sessions and seminars focusing around both sectors across the two days.

For 2021 you can expect to hear about the future of early years, sustainability, Birth to 5 Matters, diversity and inclusion plus so much more. We will also be showcasing the learning methods that have become popular during the pandemic, for example we will have a forest school area promoting the benefits of outdoor learning for children.

We also won’t be just focusing on the leaders and CEOs of the industry. We will be welcoming practitioners to speak who have first-hand experience of working on the front-lines of childcare.”

Supporting the show as Headline Sponsor is Morton Michel, The UK's leading childcare insurance specialist.
