Children's Activities Week 2023
Children's Activities Week 2023
Children’s Activities Week is a national event celebrating the best of the industry and everything that is great about children’s activities. Thousands of people come together all over the country to take part in fun activities to help raise awareness and fundraise to help disabled children and their families. This inclusive celebration is the perfect opportunity to celebrate and recognise all the positive benefits that clubs, classes, and activities bring to the lives of children and their parents and guardians – helping kids stay healthy and happy! Since its inception, Children’s Activities Week has raised over £175,000 and helped provide life-changing support for disabled children all over the UK through the charity, Caudwell Children.
Morton Michel have been working with children’s activity providers for many years and is delighted to sponsor such an incredible initiative, supporting the vital work of Caudwell Children, and highlighting the children’s activities sector.
The theme for this year is #WatchMeFly and we have an exciting week of fundraising planned in the Morton Michel office. The team will be taking part in a variety of different events including a fancy dress day, a tuck shop and a raffle with fantastic prizes. Our beloved Morton the Bear is also going on tour to take part in some children’s activity classes throughout the week!
Every act of kindness and every penny raised means that thousands of disabled children and their families across the UK will now be able to access vital support from Caudwell Children, helping to transform their lives. Plus, as a founding member of the Children’s Activities Association, we’ll be able to continue their important work to improve and grow the children's activities sector for everyone – parents, children, and activity providers alike.
