Morton Michel's Childminder Organiser is Being Decommissioned
We are sorry to announce that we have taken the decision to decommission Morton Michel’s Childminder Organiser at the end of January 2023.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you, and we wanted to take a few moments to explain why we are taking this step.
The Childminder Organiser was created in 2016 as a digital version of our old paper organiser stationary. Over the last seven years it has become steadily less popular as other dedicated childcare business software has become available, and unfortunately the costs of maintaining the Online Organiser, both in time, money and risk are no longer sustainable. Fundamentally, at Morton Michel we are childcare insurance specialists, not software developers and the services offered by the Childminder Organiser are much better supplied by other companies.
After taking the decision to decommission our Childminder Organiser, we have negotiated an exclusive deal with Kinderly, a leading provider of online software to the childcare sector. What should users of the Organiser do now?
The Childminder Organiser will be fully decommissioned on 31st January 2023 and it is important that you download your data before this date. All data held on the Childminder Organiser will be securely deleted after the decommission date and will not be recoverable.
At present most of your data can be downloaded as individual documents if you wish to do so, but from 3rd January, it will be possible to download it all in on compressed file. Once you have done so, you are responsible for the security of your data.
