The Butterfly Patch Nursery Group - Forest School is Life

The Butterfly Patch, a nursery group based in South London and Surrey has just launched affiliated Forest School training – Forest School is Life.

The aim of this launch is to offer affordable and accessible Forest School training to practitioners, teachers, and childcare workers. This comes as an attempt to help spread the ethos of Forest School – with countless benefits not just impacting children but staff members as well.

Forest School is all about helping young minds develop within a natural setting, which is proven to improve confidence, self-esteem, concentration and more. All whilst helping to raise awareness for environmental issues and take action on an individual basis.

Forest School is Life offers Forest School training Levels 1-3 and has courses running throughout the year.

A spokesperson for the nursery group said: “We’re so excited about this! We’re really passionate about spreading the ethos of Forest School and can’t wait to see how this approach and help shape the future of education.

“To anyone interested in being trained as a Forest School leader, our Level 3 course begins at the end of February in Morden (London, UK) – we have limited spaces available so be sure to enquire now”.
