The Catchy Song
The Catchy Song - Catchy by Name, Catchy by Nature
Amanda Frolich returns with the song you just can’t get out of your head. It’s the next step in her mission to get children moving in the most action-packed way.
She once knocked Baby Shark off the top of the iTunes chart and now Action Amanda has done it again with her brand-new single that really does live up to its name. The Catchy Song is certainly catchy and one you just can’t get out of your head.
Written and produced by The Catchees, two chart-topping hit songwriters, with vocals by Amanda Frolich (aka Action Amanda) and backing vocals by Alison Wheeler of The Beautiful South, it’s already gaining fans and airtime the world over. And with an equally Tik Tok-able dance routine to gowith it, it’s sure to be a huge hit with children of all ages. The routine, performed by children from the Razzamataz Theatre School was choreographed by one of Amanda’s former pupils, sixteen-year-old Oliver Stewart.
There is, as with everything Amanda does, an important message behind the music. It’s all part of her mission to combat childhood obesity and get children and their families moving together in the most action-packed way.
Amanda Frolich, founder of Amanda’s Action Club said: “I can’t tell you how excited I am about ‘The Catchy Song’. The production is just brilliant and it was a joy to perform. I’ve spent many years working to combat the childhood obesity epidemic the world over and all I want is for this tune to inspire families to get moving together. Let’s face it, once you hear it, you can’t help but jump up and dance along. This is exactly what motivates me to keep on with my mission to encourage children to be active for life.”
The Catchees, music producers said: “We were blown away by Amanda’s enthusiasm and commitment to her cause and what better way to get children moving than to music? She’s already knocked Baby Shark off the top of the charts and we’re confident that The Catchy Song will be another hit the world over. If this helps in any way to combat the childhood obesity epidemic, then we are thrilled to put our name to it.”
Denise Gosney, founder of Razzamataz Theatre Schools said: “When Amanda asked me to find dancers to perform Oliver’s routine for The Catchy Song I just had to say yes. Children who are active from an early age gain so much more from life, they’re confident, learn better and will have a brighter future. And what better way to showcase the impact she’s had over the years than by having one of her former pupils choreograph the dance routine.”
