If re-elected, the Conservatives have pledged to reduce national insurance contributions, but they have not committed to increasing early years funding or tackling child poverty.
All the major parties have committed to expanding the funded childcare entitlement, with the possible exception of Reform UK, who have indicated a preference for children being looked after at home.
